Open Doors Foundation Urgent Needs List
Our greatest need is your support in the Spirit through prayer and personal encouragement. Needs to pray for are listed under prayer requests. Following are the present financial needs for which your donations will be used.
- The need of $4,500.00 to help cover costs in connection with major heart surgery for seven year old Rubie who has needed surgery for the past four years. Without this life saving intervention Rubie has only a short time to live.
- Ongoing costs of feeding children in our programs $1000.00 per month, beside this we have food donated from our bakery partners.
- Remuneration for teachers and volunteers $1,200.00 per month.
- Utilities, energy costs are high in Romania. $900.00 per month.
- Hope for the Children Center, building fund, $75,000. still needed.
- Ongoing grocery packets for families whose children are in our programs. This encourages parents to give the children an education rather than having them bring home food and recyclables from the garbage dumpsters and begging. We have not been able to fully launch this program due to the lack of funds. Our goal is $150.00 per family per month.
- Consider being a supplementary sponsor for the Baptist pastor. We would like to help out this pressing need with $200.00 per month.
- Transportation costs. At present a litre of diesel cost $1.55, the small tank filled in our fuel efficient van costs over $100.00.
- Personal support for Hardi and Beti, who receive no salary and are totally dependent on love offerings. Please specify when donating.
Words cannot fully express our gratitude and the eternal implications that your giving from the heart precipitates. Eternity alone will reveal the impact of your faithfulness in sharing with those who are the least, the last, and the lost.
Open Doors Foundation Prayer List
- For the continuing medical assessments and pending surgery for seven year old Rubie. Please pray for Divine intervention.
- Fervent united prayer for the tearing down of spiritual strongholds in Medgidia and surrounding areas.
- For a greater anointing of the Holy Spirit upon us and the other Christians in our area.
- For the finalization of ownership for buildings we have already paid for. The City has run into problems with the title registration office regarding its rights to the properties.
- We have a serious need for a youth worker or couple who can focus on ministering to the youth and teens, both in our programs and in the Baptist Church. Also sponsorship.
- For the Baptist pastor who has serious physical, financial and most of all spiritual challenges in taking care of the flock in our city. We co-operate on many levels and our hearts go out to our dear brother, his wife and one year old son who also has some serious health challenges.
- We urgently need more able, willing and qualified individuals who have the call of Lord to share with us in the day to day tasks, ministry and administration of programs. Please respond now if you feel the tug of the Holy Spirit.
